The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has sent a delegation of workers to the CosmoSeis training centre in the capital of the UAE to take part in an intensive seismic processing and analysis orientation programme.

ADNOC employees began the training and development programme at the end of March and will remain on the course until April 16th, after which time they will have been briefed on how to bring high-potential fields on stream in the most cost-efficient way possible.

CosmoSeis also specialises in redeveloping abandoned fields and improving extraction rates at maturing wells using the latest in analysis software and technology.

The company has long been relied upon to deliver strong analytical support to state firms operating in the Gulf oil and gas industry and has established the region's largest supercomputer for this purpose.

CosmoSeis has also recently announced its successful integration of the new NemeSys noise minimisation technology to serve the regional oil and gas industry.
