Aberdeen-based maritime training and services group C-MAR has welcomed Peter Aylott to the team as it looks to expand its training portfolio.
Mr Aylott, who has served in the Royal Navy for 15 years and has developed extensive experience in standards of safety training and watchkeeping during this period, has taken on the position of chief operating officer at C-MAR.
Commenting on the appointment, group operations director Andrew Macdonald stated: "Peter's remit will be to continue the growth and development of the world leading DP centre training programmes, continuing to advance the group's fluid power hydraulics training and to develop new services and courses."
He said that doing so will help to ensure that the company is abreast of the latest technical requirements in the offshore oil and gas industry.
The company also last month established a new engineering arm. The division is headed up by chief operating officer Dan Endersby and will focus on subsea and well control.
