The brightest graduates of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy have undertaken an extensive series of tests invigilated by Azerkimya as the company searches for new employees.
Trend reports that following the trainees' graduation, 25 students were invited to the Azerkimya headquarters, where they undertook three days of tests, with tasks ranging from demonstrating competence with advanced machinery to showing knowledge of the latest regulatory guidelines for chemical engineers.
Following the testing, Azerkimya announced that eight pupils have been selected to begin working at the company, although five will delay doing so until they have completed compulsory military training.
The Azerbaijan State Oil Academy has been in operation for 90 years and was the first institute of its kind in Europe and Asia.
It signed the partnership agreement with Azerkimua this year, with the success of the inaugural hiring process likely to present annual recruitment opportunities for graduates of the academy.
