The Bahrain Society for Training and Development (BSTD) has helped to maximise the human potential of the emirate's population, oil and gas minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza has said.
He praised the organisation for its commitment to training and development during the World Memory Championships, which was held in Manama earlier this week.
According to Gulf Daily News, the oil minister extolled the group's commitment to providing the country's workers with engaging skills conferences which attracted speakers of worldwide repute.
The BSTD is a non-profit group established in 1979 and relaunched in 1994 with a view to driving human resources development in the emirate.
Collaborating with international partners, the group promotes the importance of training and development in a range of different skilled sectors including the oil and gas industry.
Next month it will be contributing at the 35th Asian Regional Training and Development conference, which is being held in Egypt for the first time.
