Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has played host to 145 university students at its club in Alawai, Bahrain.
The students were in attendance to take part in a skills development workshop and presentation conducted as part of the company's industrial training programme, which takes place between July and August.
According to Trade Arabia, the training and development programme is engineered to provide university students with the requisite practical experience to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry and other key sectors.
Bapco's manager of training and development Ahmed Tahery said that students were briefed on various specialisations and paths into the industry.
The company has also recently proudly announced that four of its plant maintenance department employees have completed university-level studies in the UK as part of Bapco's professional development programme.
In celebration of their achievement, the four graduates were treated to a reception at the Bahrain embassy in London.
