C-MAR Group's Dynamic Positioning Centre is investing in new training facilities for the offshore oil and gas industry in India and eastern Europe.

A new base to cover the energy markets of eastern Europe is being created in Croatia, with both basic and advanced courses being on offer. Meanwhile, the quickly-developing energy market in India will be covered by a new training facility in Mumbai.

Director of operations at the organisation Andrew Macdonald said C-MAR Group continually reviews its training with industry professionals.

"This ensures that we are providing the best, most relevant training possible, in the areas where industry needs it and in accessible and relevant regions around the world," he said.

Topics covered in the dynamic positioning training include simulated operations as well as identifying errors, failures or faults and emergency procedures.

C-MAR group offers training in dynamic positioning in a number of locations around the world, including in the US, Brazil and the UK, as well as at these two new centres.
