Specialist pump manufacturer Colfax has announced the opening of new offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the company positioning itself to provide improved support services and oil and gas training courses.
The new offices, located in Sanabis, will provide a point of contact for Colfax's many clients in the region, including Saudi Aramco, Bahrain Petroleum, Kuwait National Petroleum, Qatar Petroleum and Petroleum Development of Oman.
Martin Schroeder, onsite manager at the Bahrain office, said the facilities will allow the company to provide custom engineering solutions, technical support and training modules.
"We also have at our disposal worldwide resources, including more than 2,000 associates, engineering professionals and technical facilities in Colfax offices in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region," he said.
The company has enjoyed a strong start to 2009, with first-quarter results showing a 4.3 per cent increase in net sales, while organic sales growth was up 17.9 per cent.
