EagleBurgmann is celebrating after breaking ground at a new industrial technologies and training site in Jersey Village, Texas.
The company, which manufactures mechanical seals, systems, packing and expansion joints, is now commencing work on the construction of a 25,000-square-foot facility to create a hub for its operations.
Industry Week reports that the groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 6th, with Marcus Pillion, EagleBurgmann's president for US operations, on hand to forecast a bright future for the company, building on 30 years of success.
"This new facility will present a larger footprint to the marketplace and is just another example of our long-term commitment to the industries we serve not only here in Houston, but throughout North America," he commented.
EagleBurgmann was also celebrating earlier this year after being named as a winner of the coveted Stifterverband Award.
The German research and higher education group praised EagleBurgmann as a partner in the DiaCer industrial diamond-ceramic composite project.
