Eurocopter has sold its 100th EC155, providing Dancopter with an additional craft to carry out operations in the North Sea oil and gas industry.
It has been a busy week for the European helicopter manufacturer, with a number of major sales completed at the Paris Air Show, including delivery of a contract for 12 EC135 crafts signed by Kocoglu Aviation.
"Thanks to its worldwide network, Eurocopter was able to react very quickly to provide the number of aircraft required as well as quality training courses for more than 20 pilots and 30 technicians in under a year," Eurocopter announced.
The company has also signed a ten-year contract with the National Research Council Canada to invest in research, technology and training to develop new solutions for the aerospace industry.
Eurocopter also unveiled the new EC175 at the show, taking a full-scale mock-up of the corporate model of the new 16-seater craft to the French capital.
