Exprodat has announced a new long-term partnership with ESRI that will offer a new suite of geographic information systems (GIS) training for the upstream oil and gas industry.

The two companies are working together to deliver high-level training that is tailored specifically to the needs of the exploration and production divisions of major international oil and gas firms.

The courses will commence in June and will cover a range of challenges faced by the upstream oil and gas sector on a daily basis.

Sean Goodman, training manager for ESRI (UK), commented: "[The] combination of our industry and technology expertise will ensure delegates get the most value out of their training experience."

ESRI has been providing GIS training solutions for more than 20 years across a plenitude of market sectors including central and local government, commercial, defence and national security, education, public safety, utilities and telecommunications.
