Flow control product provider Flowserve has announced that the signing of a new ten-year agreement with Saudi Aramco which will see it contribute to new oil training centres designed to provide the country's domestic workforce with new skills.
In a statement, Flowserve announced that it will provide oil education resources for the centres and help fuel the company's "Saudisation" programmes.
So too, the group intends to maximise Aramco's operating profits through the deployment of its pumps, valves, actuators and mechanical seals.
"The supply agreement includes Flowserve's entire range of flow control products ... and value-added services for use in Saudi Aramco's existing and planned facilities," the company said in a statement.
Aramco's domestic development programme made an important step forward in September 2004, when the company entered into a joint partnership with vocational colleges and private institutes in Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab News, the oil training courses planned by the partners were designed to serve the needs of the oil and gas sector in the kingdom.
