Flowserve has announced the signing of a new ten-year strategic contract with Saudi oil firm Aramco.
The supplier agreement will include Flowserve's entire product range of flow control devices, in addition to value-added services such the provision of local training and development programmes.
In a statement, Flowserve expressed its commitment to Aramco's Saudisation strategy through the supply of oil training schemes.
"This new agreement demonstrates our commitment to our customers in the areas of industry-leading products, broad end-user solutions, localised service and support, as well as the in-country resources and aftermarket services," said Lewis Kling, Flowserve president and chief executive officer.
He added that the company is dedicated to assisting Aramco and other regional operators in the improvement of infrastructure and services.
Saudisation is a long-standing tenet of Aramco's corporate policy and began with the training of local workers in the years following World War II with the provision sponsored university education programmes.
