Getenergy has named the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) training provider of the year at the 2010 Getenergy Conference and Awards Ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company, based in Boston, was commended for its unparalleled development of industry-leading training programmes, products and services across its global client base.

IHRDC president Dr David Donohue said he was delighted to have won the award after fending off stiff competition from Petroskills.

"I am sure that this special recognition is a result of our painstaking dedication to innovation and excellence in the development and delivery of our many training programs and learning products," he added.

The company has been serving the global oil and gas industry for more than 40 years and has offices in Amsterdam, Cairo, Jakarta, Lagos and Caracas, in addition to its US base.

The 2010 Getenergy Conference and Awards Ceremony took place from March 22nd to 24th, marking its sixth year.
