The International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) has announced that it has won a new contract to develop competency models for PetroVietnam.
IHRDC - an international training and development provider for the oil and gas industry - will develop skill competency models for 150 upstream workers in the fields of geology, geosciences, petroleum engineering and drilling.
Additionally, the company will develop models for an additional 200 positions fulfilling support and administrative roles, the company confirmed.
"IHRDC will also provide consulting services designed to help Petro Vietnam manage their professional staff and assist in the building of a technically competent and efficient organisation," the company said in a statement.
The company, which is based in Boston and has offices in Amsterdam, Cairo, Jakarta, Lagos and Caracas, has been providing technical training and development support and competency-based e-learning solutions for nearly four decades.
In other recent developments, IHRDC also announced that it has secured a three-year licensing agreement with Petronas for the provision of its IPIMS e-Learning System.
