India provides an ideal setting for gas and oil training, according to one educational organisation.
Announcing a course in petrochemical economics and the feedstock/price inter-relationships affecting market competitiveness, the Oxford Princeton Programme said it is committed to India building its competency both upstream and downstream.
"India, as Asia's third-largest chemical industry and one of the world's fastest-growing energy markets, makes Mumbai an ideal setting for world-class training in the petrochemical industry," explained Jobert Abueva, global marketing director of the Oxford Princeton Programme.
The three-day course takes place from November 10th and will analyse the fundamentals of competitiveness in producing base chemicals and how they affect business decisions, process and feedstock selection.
It is aimed at managers, planners and commercial marketing and supply personnel from both established oil and gas firms and new entrants.
The oil and gas training provider recently announced that it will be sending a management team to the 24th Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference next month.
Staff will be available for meetings to discuss oil and gas training requirements.
