Indian Oil Corp invited more than 45 officers and personnel to take part in quality control and aviation fuel handling training at the Chandigarh air force base.
The training and development programme commenced yesterday (July 23rd) and was led by air commodore SRK Nair, the air officer commanding at the 12 Wing air force base.
According to Times of India, Mr Nair praised Indian Oil for its longstanding expertise in various types of fuels, adding that the company had proved a strong partner to the aviation sector.
He went on to urge Indian Oil to continue to develop training programmes for the Air Force, with a particular focus on handling aviation fuels.
Indian Oil's pipeline division also offers training and consultancy services for the subcontinent's downstream sector, providing tailored programmes of study for its clientele working in sectors such as mainline engines maintenance, pump, pipelines and electrical systems.
