The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has announced a new landmark partnership with Kuwait's Al Magwa Engineering and Contracting that marks the first international training and development framework secured by the CGC.
In a statement yesterday (August 2nd), the Indian group announced that it had brokered an agreement that will result in an international exchange for engineering students looking to gain practical experience in commerce and industry in the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
Counted among Al Magwa's clients are the Kuwait national petroleum company, Kuwait oil company, numerous state ministries and Arabi Entertech.
CGC has already developed training and developed programmes with the University of Technology, Sydney, San Jose University and the University of Wolverhampton.
The group's mechanical engineering department focuses heavily on engagement with key industry sectors and encourages students to pursue study that will make them valuable assets for prospective employers.
