Ingenious has announced that it has been awarded a contract from Reliance Infrastructure to develop a new world class multisite training centre to serve the downstream oil and gas sector in India.

Reliance, which is the country's largest private sector enterprise, will benefit from signature training software solutions including Ingenious' ProDyn and ProLearn programs, allowing simultaneous access at multiple sites.

"This is a firm endorsement of our experience and the quality of our solutions. We are thrilled to work on this initiative with a world class company like Reliance," said Ingenious president Bharat Kamdar.

The project will be managed in partnership with Honeywell International, which will bring its training simulation platform to Reliance.

One of the principal benefits of ProDyn is its web functionality, which allows real-time access to third-party applications and data sets, the company stated.

In addition to its commitment to the Indian oil and gas industry, Reliance also holds a responsibility for the development of roads and other urban infrastructure projects such as airports and maritime terminals.
