Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (Ladol) has called on Nigerian citizens working overseas to return home to serve the oil and gas sector.
Public affairs manager at the company Anderson Salami called on skilled professionals to return to the country and invest in the education of its people.
According to the Punch, Mr Salami said that such workers can contribute substantially to alleviating the brain drain in Nigeria through training and development of less skilled members of the workforce.
"We are targeting Nigerians in the diaspora to buy into our idea of coming back to their homestead to help develop the country's potential," he said.
He added that Ladol offers Nigerians working overseas excellent opportunities to help contribute to the betterment of the country.
The company reports to be committed to creating job opportunities for Nigerians, with hiring processes carried out in accordance with international standards and based purely on the basis of merit.
