MOP Environmental Solutions and Homeland Environmental Logistical Partners (HELP) have teamed up to offer a more robust oil spill response and training package.
The two companies, in a reportedly "first of its kind alliance", will cross-promote each other's products and combine client databases in order to ensure that each firm has maximum exposure to the global oil and gas industry.
With a widened client base, the two companies will focus on providing the most environmentally-friendly oil spill response strategy possible, as well as providing preparedness training for oil and gas sector clients across the globe.
Lawrence Gallo, HELP's chief executive officer, said the new partnership will be particularly responsive to the altered industry conditions in the US following the Deepwater Horizon disaster, the country's largest environmental catastrophe.
"The country will be searching for a more effective response to future accidents and we plan to be at the forefront in offering this sustainable, affordable and effective approach," he said.
