The delivery of training for subsea engineering firm MCS' Aberdeen-based facility is to be overseen by a new director, it has emerged.
Michael O'Sullivan is to take charge of the firm's training processes, helping to steer the delivery of staff coaching towards the needs of the expanding workforce.
Group executive director Patrick O'Brien tells Your Subsea News: "We have a very clear focus in terms of further building on our impressive growth to date."
"Michael's substantial experience from across the oil and gas industry ... will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals," he adds.
Elsewhere in the organisation, Mark Taylor has been placed in the newly created role of group quality and training manager, overseeing the in-house delivery of coaching in advanced engineering skills.
MCS adds that the Aberdeen office itself is currently undergoing an "exciting" rate of growth to build on its existing, long-standing relationship with major contractors and operators in the subsea sector.
