Oil industry giant Saudi Aramco has placed an order for a training simulator and virtual environment, it has been revealed.
The firm has ordered two different systems, including a multi-screen firearms training environment and a simulator for the same purpose.
With these, the oil industry operator aims to raise security levels, allowing it to protect both interests and assets.
Bob Ferris, chief executive officer and president of VirTra Systems, which is supplying the equipment, notes that the order marks its continued work with major global brands.
"We are honoured by the order and our new opportunities with Saudi Aramco," he says.
"VirTra's firearm training simulators are finding application in large companies."
Saudi Aramco's refining and petrochemicals work spans the area from the Red Sea to the Arabian Gulf.
It adds that its refineries supply in excess of one million barrels of finished products each day to international and domestic markets.
