Oilennium has announced the launch of a new learning management system to serve the training and development requirements of the oil and gas industry.

The new online education programme offers an extensive suite of practical learning tools that are designed to maximise retention, the company said in a statement.

"We appreciate that every client is different, with an individual set of employee education requirements and internal management capabilities," said Kevin Meable, managing director of Oilennium.

He added that the new suite is highly scalable and will suit both large and small companies.

For big firms, Oilennium provides training courses to allow in-house staff to take full control of the learning management system, while content can be managed remotely for smaller firms.

Oilennium is a UK-based firm and is currently expanding in line with increased demand for its services.

Among its recent clients is oil and gas service supplier Weatherford, which has called upon the firm to provide training and development facilities in the fields of health and safety, risk management and equipment usage.
