Oliver Valves has opened a new office and training base in Houston this week, shortly after winning a significant new contract with Angola's Amec.
Speaking to Crain's Manchester Business, the founder of the valve and pipework specialist Mike Oliver, explained that the new facilities will enable the company to host training days for clients and sales engineers.
Mark Davis, US vice-president of Oliver Valves, added: "We don't want to change a winning formula. The great success we have enjoyed in the United States is based not only on the quality of our products, but also on our excellent customer service."
The move will also enable the company to work alongside distribution partner AWC, which is based in Texas.
Oliver Valves' new offices will also strengthen its international business, following the contract to supply topside double block and bleed valves for the Amec Kizomba Satellites project off the coast of Angola.
