A new joint venture by Production Services Network (PSN) and Kenson will help to maximise yields from mature fields off the coast of Trinidad, it has been claimed.
The new company, Kenson-PSN, will bring local knowledge and specialist oil training expertise to help rigs get the most from reserves while keeping extraction costs to a minimum.
"Coupled with Kenson's extensive knowledge of the energy industry in the area, PSN brings additional leadership [and] significant oil and gas production management experience," said Zeffrey Lucas, president of operations in the Americas for PSN.
The company specialises in maximising project lifetimes through the training and development of workers and the deployment of state of the art technology at rigs throughout the globe.
Meanwhile, Kenson specialises in providing skilled workers for offshore and onshore facilities throughout Trinidad & Tobago.
The firm was set up in 1994 to address the need for robust training and development of the local workforce to address the needs of the oil and gas industry.
