Production Services Network (PSN) has reinforced the credentials of its learning and competence management system with a new accreditation from OPITO - the oil and gas academy.
The academy commended the company's compliance with internationally recognised standards of best practice and announced that with the accreditation, all staff members using PSN's learning system would benefit from assessment based on clearly defined principles of performance.
"OPITO approval is a fitting seal of approval from the industry recognising our ongoing commitment to create a sustainable, safe, skilled workforce for the future," said Peter Brown, managing director UK, who holds responsibility for the health and safety and profit and loss in PSN's northern Europe business.
PSN has also this week been handed two awards from the Minerals Management Service in recognition of its outstanding performance in safety training in the oil and gas industry.
Awards were given to its Grasso Production Management division and to Wayne Broussard, PSN's manager of training.
