Colfax subsidiary Allweiler has opened a new office in Sanabis, Bahrain, in order to provide a better customer service for its clients throughout the Middle East.
The company, which has been working on oil, gas and power infrastructure and industrial installations in the regions for decades, wanted to establish a stronger presence in the region to demonstrate to clients its commitment to customer service and support.
"We look forward to having direct and frequent contact with our Middle East customers to provide custom engineered solutions, technical advice and training," said Martin Schroeder, onsite manager at the Bahrain office.
He added that the new offices will serve as a hub for the company's global network of services and products, delivered by more than 2,000 partners.
Earlier this year, Colfax announced that although the global oil and gas industry has been cutting back on investment through the downturn, it is intent on increasing its investment in the Middle East, recognising the strength and importance of the region.
