Qserv will offer students at Robert Gordon University's Energy Centre in Aberdeen the chance to gain an expert understanding of coiled tubing and well control technology.
In January and February, the company will offer two lectures to around 120 students enrolled on the Advanced Completion and Subsea Engineering module of the university's masters engineering course.
"Ensuring that our graduates have had as much experience as possible of the industry before they start work is absolutely invaluable and giving companies the opportunity to provide guest lecturers is vital to ensuring that happens," said Qserv's Graham Meldrum, International Well Control Forum (IWCF)/coiled tubing instructor.
Steve Button, discipline leader for petroleum production engineering MSc at the Energy Centre, added that the campus is committed to tending links with the oil and gas industry in order to provide students with a practical base from which to launch their career.
The Energy Centre aims to provide a diverse syllabus to address the acute skills shortages being felt across the energy industry.
