Norwegian energy industry technology firm Roxar has signed an agreement with Hanoi Mining and the Geology University in Vietnam to provide training and development software and receive interns.
Under the terms of the agreement, Roxar will extend its signature measurement solutions and software to Hanoi Mining while also receiving students from the university to offer them a practical oil education.
So too, the company will begin hiring exceptional graduates from the university.
According to Vietnam Net, Norwegian commercial counsellor to Vietnam Harald Naevdal said that he hoped that Roxar would further develop its ties with the country in the future, adding that this new agreement will bring benefits to all parties concerned.
The group also plans to enter a training and development partnership with oil and gas department of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technologies.
Roxar promotes itself on serving as an enabler to the oil and gas industry, allowing firms to maximise returns from reservoir assets.
