Aberdeen-based training and development software specialist C-SAM has crowned a move to new headquarters with a £250,000 commission secured from Aker Solutions.
Under the terms of the contract, C-SAM will supply Bibby Offshore, Triton Group member Dynamic Positioning Services and Belgian-based GEMS International with its tailored business management solutions, which includes an oil and gas training scheduling system, as well vessel, personnel and asset tracking software.
"Our focus has been on breaking in to the subsea and maritime sector as we believe our software systems are ideally suited to companies with varied assets spread across the world," said C-SAM managing director Theresa Wheeler.
Last year, the company made significant inroads into the UK subsea oil and gas industry - which grew by 90 per cent over the previous five years - with the award of three contracts worth more than £500,000.
TSMarine, Integrated Subsea Services and Canyon Offshore, a Helix subsidiary, all benefited from C-SAM's business management solutions.
