Middlesbrough-based charitable group TTE Technical Training is continuing to outperform national averages in the number of apprentices who complete its courses.
The group reports that while completion rates on both a regional and national level are at around the 66 per cent mark, TTE is this year set to achieve a 90 per cent pass rate.
Managing director Keith Hunter commented: "TTE prides itself on the quality of its industry standard training courses, which are combined with strong career support and pastoral care, all of which contribute to our outstanding success rate."
The organisation is the single largest training provider for the UK oil and gas industry, as well as the manufacturing, process and engineering sectors.
Last month, the group reported that its Wilton International training centre has tallied up two million hours without a lost-time accident being incurred.
The company thanked the contribution every worker, trainee and visiting contractor had made in achieving the milestone.
