The TTE Technical Training Group has hosted a delegation of representatives from the Chinese province of Chongqing and laid the groundwork for an expanded international training and development portfolio.
Phil Blewitt, TTE Group's commercial business director, said that the company has earned a strong reputation as a leading provider of industry-approved training and development programmes both throughout the UK and overseas.
"We are keen to pursue all avenues that will allow TTE International Ltd to work with organisations abroad in establishing training centres or providing expertise to help improve workers knowledge and skills," he added.
The visit by the delegation followed a breakthrough agreement between Chongqing and UK authorities setting out proposals for the development of Professional Institutional and Vocational Education, Training and Qualification Centres of Excellence in the province.
Newcastle-based TTE has also this month strengthened its training portfolio with the launch of the new Performing Engineering Operations course.
