An oil and gas training class is set to take place in Texas later this month.
Scheduled for June 26th, the Right of Way & Land Title training programme is being offered by American Right of Way Associates in Fort Worth, Texas.
The class will focus on teaching the skills pupils need to become right of way and title agents for the Haynesville Shale, Eagleford Shale and the Barnett Shale regions, positions that can pay up to $90,000 (£60,700) annually.
According to the firm, the oil and gas industry has a real need for personnel who can secure right of way for pipelines from sites to existing pipeline infrastructures.
"Our training has allowed hundreds of people to break into an industry that was once based on who you know, not what you know," said American Right of Way Associates chief executive Don Valden.
He added that the company has offered successful oil and gas training classes in the Barnett Shale area for four years.
The firm estimates that the development of the Barnett Shale will continue for at least two decades.
American Right of Way Associates also offers Haynesville Shale training classes in Shreveport, Louisiana.
