A class of 15 managers at the UAE-based Zadco Oil Operations have been awarded leadership training certification from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (IPCM) and Sun Learning Systems (SLS).
Following the completion of a 12-month training and development programme in June, the managers were honoured at an awards ceremony earlier this month.
Jumaa O Al Mehairi, assistant general manager of Zadco, said that the company has long proved itself as a leading oilfield development and hydrocarbon production firm.
"However, as a part of our corporate mission and goals, we are continually striving to improve our management and leadership in the organisation," he said, adding that achieving accreditation from the IPCM and SLS is testament to this commitment.
Zadco was established in 1977 to develop the Upper Zakum field. Since this time, its scope and ambition has grown and it is now one of the UAE's leading exploration and production firms.
