The event included 26 working sessions over the three days. These included Case Study Workshops, Masterclasses, Circle Exchanges, Exchanges, a Summit, and a series of Audiences with oil and gas company Learning and Development, Training, Capability Development and HR specialists. Summaries of all these sessions are published in this report. Participation at these meetings was intense and most of the participants attended a selection of sessions during the event.

The scope of the subject areas was deliberately wide. Sessions covered a range of topics from attracting school pupils towards a career in the industry to mentoring industry leaders, from detailed discussions of technical and engineering education to cultural and economic issues, from the overall strategic view of professional development for whole companies to the operation of individual training centres.
