There is very significant demand in the Russian/CIS hydrocarbon business to enhance the skills and technical capability of staff in all major oil, gas and refining operations. Gazprom alone trains some 50,000 staff annually – the majority are trained by private training providers. Although some Russian/CIS companies have a strong track record of involvement with universities, there is a desire to further strengthen those links and also to explore the best new training and education programmes on offer from companies and institutions around Russia.
Sharing this information and aligning the interests of many Russian/CIS and some international colleges and universities will be the principal aim of this event. The event will comprise a series of ‘Exchange’ meetings conducted in Russian and English where Power Point presentations are banned. Getenergy has strong relationships with National Oil Companies across the CIS all of whom are expected to sponsor or participate in the event.
