2005
The first event in Houston in March 2005 proved that we could make an event about education and training in oil and gas work. We had 250 people from 14 countries meeting in our learning arena of 45 training and education companies. People told us they wanted more, they wanted us to be globally representative and they liked the fact we were independent.

2006
Getenergy moved the event to Dubai. We attracted 377 people from 27 countries and expanded the range of training offerings in our learning arena. Our Exchange programme of meetings reached into totally new areas of oil/gas collaboration.

2007
We stayed in Dubai to take advantage of the impact we had made in 2006. We brought together 547 people from 35 countries and 68 stand holders in the learning arena. People told us they thought it was the best event yet. The level of business done and partnerships formed in the Learning Arena beat the records we had set in previous years.

2008
Getenergy moved the event to London. We attracted 706 people from 42 different countries. Those who attended benefited from the Getenergy format and the opportunities to discuss issues relevant to their region or field of interest, no matter what their country of origin. Indeed, the global nature of the event was seen to added considerable value. This year we saw an increase in the participation from oil and gas companies, we are already working to keep expanding the reach of the Getenergy community
