Getenergy Global 2017
To be held in May 2017 at the Business Design Centre, the 13th Annual Getenergy Global will be the event that connects the oil & gas industry, governments and education & training to support the localisation of operations and efficiency drive in business wide learning and development.
After 13 years in education and training for the oil/gas business, Getenergy is uniquely positioned to deliver a forum where meaningful discussions and partnerships can be advanced around localisation agendas built on strong local supply chains, local education systems and government capacity.
Getenergy Americas 2017 will take place in Colombia in association with ANH, providing a unique platform to create partnerships around education and workforce capacity development. Maintaining the growth of our industry in growth markets such as Colombia and Mexico, will be in part dependant on attracting and training future oil and gas professionals. Colombia looks to be the perfect backdrop for Getenergy’s 5th Americas event, as Ecopetrol looks to increase production by 2020, and more licensing auctions and fewer rules for the private market.
The Getenergy VTEC Africa event will drive the development of partnerships with education and training institutions for Sub-Saharan Africa’s oil and gas industry. Bringing governments, NOCs, IOCs, service companies, public higher education, education systems and training providers, Getenergy Africa will seek to create localised workforces and supply chain to work within the oil and gas sector.
The inaugural event in March 2015 was attended by over 200 senior leaders in education and training for the hydrocarbon sectors across East Africa and beyond.
Getenergy VTEC MENA
The 4th Getenergy VTEC MENA event is the Middle East and North Africa’s only event to bridge the gap between providers of education and training with the oil and gas industry – to develop a local, highly skilled and safe trained workforce.
VTEC MENA brings 300 leaders from government, universities, colleges, training companies and the region’s upstream oil and gas industry meet to develop partnerships between the industry and education community from across the Middle East and North Africa.
